Leonie is our Managing Partner and Senior Solicitor at Yeppoon Lawyers. She is a long-time resident of central Queensland. She lives in Yeppoon and grew up on a cattle property near Alpha.
Leonie has extensive experience in business and the rural sector including; consulting and managing, training, agri-politics and community development. These skills led to the development of her consulting firm in 2007 and to holding non-executive company director roles in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors.
Leonie holds many qualifications including; Bachelor of Laws (Honors), Bachelor of Business (Property Valuation), Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice and graduate of Australian Institute of Company Directors. Leonie also sits on the board of the Mt Isa Water Board and St Brendan’s College Yeppoon.
In her spare time, you’ll find Leonie at her children’s sporting activities like the Yeppoon Surf Lifesaving Club. You might even cross paths with Leonie adventure travelling, cycling or photographing the region.
